**Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)** **Shift: 3x12.0** **Location: New York** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population undergoing various surgical procedures. We cater to multiple specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma at a level 1 trauma center. **Key Responsibilities:** - Care for patients undergoing surgeries across multiple specialties. - Function as both scrub and circulating nurse during surgical procedures. - Involve in complex cases, including transplants (liver, kidney, heart), craniofacial surgery, and orthopedic procedures. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care. - Utilize advanced technology, including two Da Vinci robots, for various surgical services. **Job Requirements:** - Current RN license in New York State. - Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with preference for OR experience in a level 1 trauma setting. - Proficient in scrubbing and circulating in surgical procedures. - BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required. - ACLS certification is preferred. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with specialty surgical cases including transplants and reconstructive surgeries. - Strong background in orthopedic procedures. **Behavioral Characteristics:** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments. - Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. **Contract Duration:** 17 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
