**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit** **Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and effective patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Providing direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice. - Assessing patients and developing individualized care plans. - Implementing appropriate interventions and evaluating patient outcomes. - Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. - Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs. - Educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans. - Directing and guiding the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of care in the Telemetry Unit. - Responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and treatment responses. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid state RN license. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. - Ventilator management experience preferred. - Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required. - COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred. **Essential Skills:** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to patient-centered care. **Professional Requirements:** - Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. - Valid driver’s license or state ID. - Successful completion of a criminal background check. - Various health screenings and immunizations as mandated. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
