**Job Description: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit** **Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a current and valid state RN license, along with essential certifications and experience in critical areas. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver safe and effective patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care and ensure adherence to standards of care within the Telemetry Unit. - Perform patient assessments and care planning based on individual patient needs. - Administer medications and treatments as ordered, while monitoring patient responses to these interventions. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to communicate changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic study results. - Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans, directing and guiding other nursing personnel as needed. - Quickly and accurately respond to changes in patient condition or treatment responses. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid state RN license. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. - Ventilator management experience preferred. - COVID vaccination and boosters preferred. - Proficient with EPIC EMR software. **Professional Development and Requirements:** - Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. - Submission of a current Driver's License/State ID and other professional attestations. - Successfully pass a minimum 10-panel drug screening. - Vaccine records including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, and Tuberculosis (TB) test submission required. - Completion of required competency and skills checklists.
