**Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Contract)** **Shift:** Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM **Contract Length:** 13 weeks **Location:** Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR), Outpatient (OP), and Acute Hospital settings **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic facility that includes a 64-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and a 400-bed acute hospital with full outpatient services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro rehabilitation, including spinal cord injury (SCI), brain injury (BI), and stroke recovery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement patient-centered therapeutic plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines, particularly in neuro rehabilitation settings. - Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional patient care. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal outcomes. - Adapt to various patient care settings including IPR, OP, and Acute as needed. **Qualifications:** - Required: Valid Occupational Therapist license and relevant experience in neuro rehabilitation. - Must have experience in multiple settings: Acute care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Outpatient services. - Preferred: Understanding of IPR post-acute guidelines and familiarity with the CARE tool assessment. - Strong time management and organizational skills are essential. **Staffing Profile:** - Number of Staff: 160 - Patient Ratios: Approximately 75% direct patient care per 8-hour shift. - Typical Equipment: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used for documentation and patient management. **Personality Fit:** - The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, team-oriented, and excels in communication and collaboration. **Dress Code:** Scrub color: Caribbean Blue.
