**Job Title:** CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) **Shift:** Mid 4x10-Hour (14:00 - 00:30) **Location:** [Location Redacted] **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing high-quality CT examinations for patients across various age groups—from infants to geriatrics—following established protocols for physician interpretation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct CT examinations efficiently, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Provide quality patient care while managing a diverse patient population. - Prepare and administer contrast media as required and start peripheral IVs. - Operate the PACS system for imaging processing and storage. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate patient care and interventional cases. - Participate in on-call rotation as needed. - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices related to radiation exposure. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (first-time travelers welcome). - Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), SCRQSA (CT), and BLS from the American Heart Association. - Must possess a South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) license or be in the process of obtaining one. - Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completed a clinical rotation with ARRT certification by the end of the rotation. - Must provide a radiation badge, which will be supplied by your agency. **Special Requirements:** - Capable of performing inpatient, ER, and scheduled interventional cases. - Experience in starting IVs and conducting biopsies is essential. **Additional Information:** - Shift: 4x10s from Monday to Thursday (2 PM - 12:30 AM). - No floating between service lines is required. - Local radius for candidate acceptance is 60 miles. - Approved time off must be communicated at the time of submission, with limitations on RTO post-submission. - Awareness of hurricane season responsibilities is encouraged, as all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
