**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Ortho, Post Operative, Med/Surg** **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:00 **Location:** Gallatin, TN (Candidates must reside 60 miles or more away to be considered for travel). **Contract Length:** 91 weeks **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Facility Overview:** Join a reputable 167-bed healthcare facility recognized for providing exceptional healthcare services to the community for over 60 years. The facility, fully accredited by The Joint Commission, specializes in a range of medical services and is a Level III Trauma Center. **Position Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Ortho, Post Operative, and Med/Surg department. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering quality care to a diverse patient population including geriatrics, adults, children (13 and older), and trauma patients. You will be expected to work collaboratively with a skilled healthcare team and provide compassionate support to patients and their families. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care to patients post-operation, including orthopedic, bariatric, GI, and trauma patients. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, and implement appropriate interventions. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech. - Participate in team meetings and continuous education opportunities to enhance nursing skills. **Requirements:** - Current RN license to practice in Tennessee (ASN required). - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting. - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required. - Strong assessment skills and ability to provide excellent patient care. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. - Must be willing to float to other units as needed. **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 23 - Patient Ratios: 4-6:1 - Call Requirements: None **Dress Code:** Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
