**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift** **Job Description:** As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care and ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. You will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff members, fostering an environment focused on teamwork and collaboration. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to create individualized care plans. - Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient’s diagnosis through collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. - Provide timely updates and patient information during Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient assessments, interventions, and responses in accordance with hospital policy. - Participate actively in the patient rehabilitation program and be accountable for direct patient care using the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. - Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission to facilitate a smooth transition. - Communicate effectively all pertinent information regarding patient status changes to care providers to ensure continuity of care. - Direct, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel while prioritizing tasks and using time efficiently. - Maintain a safe work environment by following hospital safety protocols and guidelines. - Contribute to a positive unit culture through team-building activities and supportive interactions with staff, patients, and families. - Collaborate with management regarding service needs, such as supplies and equipment. - Assume charge responsibilities as requested and maintain ongoing professional development. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Valid RN license for the state of practice - Current BLS certification (required prior to the first shift) - Current ACLS certification (required prior to the first shift in specified facilities) - Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience (highly desired) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
