**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Location:** New Hampshire **Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a small, rural Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, especially in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or telemetry setting. This opportunity is tailored for nurses who thrive in rural healthcare environments and are ready to hit the ground running. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to geriatrics. - Monitor patients' cardiac status and perform basic dysrhythmia assessments. - Work independently and effectively manage patient loads with a RN/patient ratio of 5:1, with higher acuity patients at 3:1 or 4:1. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Complete necessary documentation and maintain up-to-date patient records. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, or Telemetry nursing. - Valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate. - Current certifications in ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA). - Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a small facility setting, preferably with rural healthcare experience. - Traveler must have their own vehicle for transportation to and from the facility. - All requested time off must be noted prior to submission; requests made after must be approved beforehand. **Additional Information:** - All candidates must upload their license and profile details for consideration. - Interviewing and hiring processes are streamlined to support rapid onboarding. - Weekend and holiday coverage required every other week. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
