**Job Title: Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)** **Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is essential for delivering high-quality patient care through a thorough nursing process that includes assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The Critical Care RN will effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team and will display sensitivity to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver patient care by following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to ensure understanding of treatment plans. - Manage department and patient activities efficiently to ensure well-organized and proficient delivery of care. - Support and promote organizational programs aimed at ensuring quality patient care. - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and interdisciplinary team members. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Critical Care setting; first-time travelers accepted with Level I Trauma experience. - Current RN licensure in your state. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA). - Preferred Education: 4-Year Degree; 2-Year Degree Minimum. **Skills:** - Proficient with Epic charting system. - Ability to manage 2-3 patients at a time. - Knowledge and experience in areas such as: - Arterial line management, ventilation, central line care, the management of acute and chronic renal failure, and procedural sedation administration. - High flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ECMO, and blood product administration. - Interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs. - Familiarity with interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. **Unit Details:** - Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics - Daily Census: Approximately 14 patients - Unit Type: Medical-Surgical ICU with 12 rooms and 16 beds. **Additional Information:** - Weekend coverage required: 6 shifts per 6-week period. - Pre-Approved Time Off: One. - Orientation Hours: 36. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
