**Job Title: CT Technician (Traveling)** **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) **Contract Length:** 91 weeks **Required Experience:** Minimum 1 year **Certifications:** Valid BLS and ARRT R **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technician for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of imaging procedures and demonstrate proficiency in working with advanced imaging technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform CT imaging procedures on patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Ensure high-quality imaging results by adhering to established protocols and standards of care. - Administer contrast media according to guidelines, and prepare patients for imaging procedures effectively. - Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping in the required charting system (Epic). - Provide a supportive and professional environment for patients and their families. **Unit Details:** - Daily Census: Approximately 106 patients - Number of Rooms: 210 - Number of Beds: 378 - Interdisciplinary Support Teams available, including Radiology, Rapid Response, and Pharmacy. **Requirements:** - A minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience in a CT imaging role. - Experience with adult acute care and outpatient services. - Familiarity with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment. - Prior experience with a wide range of CT scans including abdomen, chest, head, and pelvis, with and without contrast. - Comfort in adhering to isolation precautions and starting peripheral IVs when necessary. **Travel Requirements:** - Must meet the RTO (Request Time Off) requirements at submission. - Valid KS or Compact RN license required at the time of submission. - Local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. - Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs; brief orientation will be provided. **What We Offer:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
