**Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)** **Shift:** 2 PM - 10 PM, Full-Time (40 hours/week), Minimum 20-week contract through the holiday season **Location:** [Location to be specified] **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid New York LPN licensure and CPR certification (BLS AHA or RQI only) along with a minimum of one year of experience in long-term care settings. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, patient-centered care to our residents. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality nursing services that align with the specific needs of our adult and geriatric patient population. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents, following established policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). - Collect and assess ongoing data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions, communicating findings clearly to the RN and Interdisciplinary Team members. - Contribute to the development of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care plans, involving residents and their families in the care process to achieve desired health outcomes. - Evaluate resident care progress, recommend revisions to care plans, and coordinate referrals to address all aspects of each resident's needs. - Maintain current knowledge in nursing practice, demonstrating clinical expertise through participation in continuing education and in-service training programs. - Mentor and orient new staff members, providing guidance and support as necessary. - Ensure a safe, healthy environment for the residents, with a focus on safety, cost, and care delivery impact. - Adhere to protocols for occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens as required. **Qualifications:** - Valid New York LPN Licensure - BLS Certification (AHA or RQI) - Minimum one year of experience in a long-term care (LTC) facility - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
