Job Description

**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team on a night shift basis (3x12.0). As an RN, you will maintain the delivery of quality patient care by ensuring the nursing care plan is effectively followed. In this role, you will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees to deliver superior care while embracing our core values of quality, respect, results orientation, teamwork, and resourcefulness. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, using collected data to create individualized care plans. - Identify teaching needs and collaboratively set goals with patients and their families, alongside the interdisciplinary team. - Provide timely patient information and status updates during Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with policy. - Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care by utilizing the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. - Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission, anticipating discharge needs. - Communicate any significant changes in patient status to support continuity of care and safety, including updates to attending physicians and charge nurses. - Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing staff, fostering effective decision-making and prioritization. - Uphold personal and environmental safety in alignment with established nursing policies and procedures. - Contribute positively to unit dynamics by providing reassurance and guidance to staff, patients, and families. - Maintain open communication with management regarding service needs, supplies, equipment repairs, and training. - Take on charge nurse responsibilities following the orientation period when requested. - Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study to enhance clinical competence. - Prioritize activities effectively to meet patient needs, demonstrating time management skills. - Perform any other duties as requested by management. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Current BLS certification required prior to the first shift. - ACLS certification required prior to the first shift in designated facilities. - Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Strong commitment to patient care and safety. **Join Our Team!** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
