**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)** **Contract Duration: 13 Weeks** **Location: North Austin Medical Center, 4th Floor** **Overview:** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal-child health and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery and the OB Emergency Department. - Monitor maternal and fetal health using advanced equipment such as Novii, JADA, and IUPC. - Conduct assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. - Perform various procedures, including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 during shifts. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. - Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including attendance guidelines. **Qualifications:** - Current RN licensure in the state. - BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required. - 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D). - Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably Meditech. - Competency in EFM and C-Section circulation is mandatory. - Preferred: Experience in a Level IV unit and internal fetal monitor placement competency. **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 32 - Staff: 150 (1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse on each shift) - Equipment: Includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound machines. **Best Personality Fit:** - Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Navy Blue (solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts allowed; T-shirts are not acceptable). **Why Join Us?** - Work in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with opportunities for professional growth. - Engage with cutting-edge technology and innovative care practices. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
