**Job Title: X-Ray Technician** **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) **Schedule:** Friday to Sunday **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform radiographic procedures with a strong understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology. In this role, you will be responsible for applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in both adult and pediatric radiology settings. A high degree of technical competency and the ability to act independently with minimum supervision are critical for success in this position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, operating room, and portable imaging. - Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process. - Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and analyze imaging results. - Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. - Provide excellent patient care and support during procedures. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiologic setting. - National certifications required: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR. - Experience with fluoroscopy and operating room settings is preferred. - A radiation badge is required (must be provided by the agency). - Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. **Additional Information:** - Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. - The facility operates under Level III trauma designation with a total of 286 staffed beds. - No parking costs incurred. - Full-time engagement with potential on-call responsibilities. **Patient Demographics:** The X-Ray Technician will work with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. **Hurricane Season Note:** All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November).
