**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Telemetry** **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:00 **Location:** Gallatin, TN (Travel position, candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility) **Job Description:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a 167-bed facility with Level III Trauma Center status. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of nursing experience and will be familiar with the dynamics of a Med Surg environment. **Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. - Accurately assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety protocols. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech EHR system. - Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care. **Requirements:** - Current RN license in Tennessee (or compact state). - Required certifications: BLS and ACLS, to be completed prior to the start date. - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Med Surg setting. - Proficiency in IV insertion is required. - Must be able to float to other Med Surg units as needed. - State-specific checks, including Tennessee Abuse Registry, will be performed prior to assignment start. **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 167 - Patient Ratios: Varies by patient acuity - Equipment: Omnicell for medication dispensing - Supervisor: Available for team support **Additional Information:** - Guaranteed hours per week: 36 - Weekend requirements: Every other weekend - Contract duration: 91 weeks **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
