**Job Title: Registered Nurse (Float Assignment)** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching to patients and their families. Effective communication with the healthcare team and an active role in finding solutions for variances from patient goals are crucial. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess patient needs, plan comprehensive care, and implement the nursing process effectively. - Delegate responsibilities and supervise nursing staff while documenting care and patient teaching. - Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. - Participate in identifying solutions for variances from patient care goals and ensure implementation. - Float to different units as assigned, with potential shifts every four hours based on staffing needs. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty nursing areas. - Basic dysrhythmia testing competency. - BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Proficient in performing a variety of professional nursing services. - Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. **Education:** - Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). **Certification & Licensure:** - Required: Current licensure by the state nursing board. - Other certifications as designated by facility standards. **Hours & Contract Details:** - Shift: 1900-0730, open to 48-hour weeks. - Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 - Contract Weeks: 60.
