**Job Title: Ambulatory OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)** **Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM) or 3x12-Hour (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM) **Weekend Requirement:** No weekends **On-Call Requirement:** No **Floating Requirement:** Potential to float within the Periop facility **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our ambulatory operating room team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in various surgical specialties such as Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Gynecology, Genitourinary, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to enhance their surgical skills and work in a dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment. - Prepare operating rooms and set up surgical instruments and equipment. - Support the surgical team during procedures, anticipating their needs. - Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments. - Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control. - Potentially precept new team members in the operating room. **Requirements:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a surgical setting. - **Certifications:** - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Radiation badge provided by the parent company - **Technical Skills:** Familiarity with Epic charting system is required. - **Preferred Experience:** Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to: - Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy - Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction - Cholecystectomy - Total joint replacement - Cystoscopy and more. **Work Environment:** - State-of-the-art facility with 9 operating rooms. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy. - Day shift with no call, no major holidays, and no weekend shifts. **Application Process:** Interested candidates must submit their applications along with all required documentation, including proof of certifications and any relevant experience, at the time of submission. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
