**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse** **Shift:** Night Shift (3x12-Hour) from 19:00 to 07:00 **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced, supportive environment. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care for mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. - Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, ensuring both maternal and infant safety. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate smooth deliveries and respond efficiently to any complications. - Educate patients and their families about the birthing process and postpartum care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing the Cerner charting system. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. - AWHONN fetal monitoring intermediate course certification required. - Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). - First-time travelers accepted based on experience. - Commitment to working every other weekend. **Additional Information:** - On-call duty is not required; however, clinicians may float within scope as needed in Women’s and Infants departments, rarely in Post-Partum/Ante-Partum areas. - Open to block schedule arrangements based on unit needs. - Local applicants within a 25-mile radius are encouraged to apply. - Must possess a valid nursing license by the time of submission. **Contract Details:** - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week. - Length of contract: 91 weeks. - Modified time to start: ASAP. **COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:** The COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position; however, flu vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions considered. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
