**Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)** **Shift: Days (Monday – Sunday)** **Location: Rehabilitation Hospital** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. Our facility specializes in the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing customized, intense rehabilitation services tailored to the individual needs of your patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patients’ health, function, and quality of life through our comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Provide hands-on physical therapy aligned with patient recovery goals. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. - Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary using electronic health records (EHR). - Educate patients and their families on health management and rehabilitation strategies. **Qualifications:** - Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Iowa. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families. - Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred. **Patient Population:** Primarily adults recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. **Additional Information:** - Number of Openings: 1 - Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40 - Weekend work may be required. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
