**Job Title: Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN** **Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM** **Location: Chippenham Hospital, Richmond, VA** **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 3 cath labs - **Number of Staff:** 10-11 staff per day in cath lab - **Staffing Mix:** - Day Shift: Mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists - Night Shift: 0 - **Patient Ratios:** 3 staff per room - **Type of Equipment:** GE X-ray/MacLab - **EMR:** Meditech **General Information:** We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab and be able to perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures. **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Candidates with experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases will be prioritized. - **Certifications:** Must possess RN, RCIS, or RT certifications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including Impella, balloon-pump, and peripheral cases. - Assist in complex PCIs and occasional device placements. - Collaborate with a team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Adhere to unit guidelines and maintain professional conduct. **Personality Fit:** A successful candidate will be easy-going, kind, and friendly, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy lab environment. **Unit Policies and Guidelines:** - Professionalism and attendance are vital. - Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call-back. - Requires participation in on-call rotations during weekends and weekdays. **Contract Details:** - Number of Positions Available: 1-2 - Guaranteed Hours: 91 contract weeks --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
