**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - 3x12-Hour Shifts** **Location:** Cleveland, Ohio **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a travel contract basis. This position is located in a fast-paced, reputable hospital environment that provides high-quality patient care. You will work 3x12-hour shifts, either Day (07:00 - 19:30) or Night (19:00 - 07:30), typically rotating every two weeks based on the operational needs of the hospital. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Telemetry unit, including monitoring vital signs and ECG rhythms. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding health status and treatment plans. - Participate in an ongoing training and development program, including passing the ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience prior to travel assignments; travel experience is acceptable. - Current, valid nursing license in Ohio or a Compact state. - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; certifications must be current and active. - Must be able to commit to working every other holiday and be flexible with scheduling preferences (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon). **Requirements for Submission:** - One reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required for submission. - Background checks and drug screens must be passed according to facility policies. **Note:** This position allows for an 18-week contract with the potential to extend. **Why Apply?** Join a dedicated healthcare team where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive environment. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
