**Job Title: Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse – Inpatient Rehabilitation** **Shift:** 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM **Patient Ratio:** 1:7 **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting opportunity in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation, particularly with experience in working with patients who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. **Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in a rehabilitation environment. - Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs in compliance with protocols. - Educate patients and families on recovery processes and rehabilitation techniques. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg or Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF). - Must have experience with EPIC electronic health records. - Strong knowledge of common rehabilitation diagnoses and treatments including, but not limited to: hypertension, insulin protocols, feeding tube care, swallowing precautions, and wound care. - BLS certification is required. **Preferred Skills:** - Travel experience in healthcare settings. - Experience treating complex diagnosis such as CVA, Parkinson’s, post-craniotomy, spinal injury, and brain injury. **Unit Information:** - Bed Capacity: 49 - Patient Demographics: Primarily adult and geriatric populations. **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Any - Unacceptable Attire: Not applicable **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
