**Job Title: Travel RN - Rehab/Med Surg Night Shift** **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM **Location:** Aurora, CO **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Rehabilitation and Med Surg. This position is primarily based in Aurora but will require floating between our Spalding facilities as needed, adhering to the staffing protocols of our organization. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 42 - **Staffing Levels:** 80 nursing FTEs - **Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:** Day Shift - 5:1 (1 Charge RN, approximately 5-6 RNs), Night Shift - 5-6:1 - **Type of Equipment:** Welch Allyn vital monitors, basic nursing equipment - **Electronic Medical Record System:** Meditech **Essential Qualifications:** **Must Have:** - Current BLS certification - Proven Med Surg skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - CRRN certification (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) - Experience in rehabilitation settings **Responsibilities:** - Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs - Administer medications and manage IVs - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans - Conduct bladder and bowel programs, EKGs, and blood glucose monitoring - Maintain accurate and updated patient records in the EMR system **Ideal Candidate Attributes:** - Positive, energetic, and reliable - Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude - Adaptable to various clinical settings and patient needs **Why Join Our Team?** - Work in the first rehabilitation hospital in existence and a facility that is recognized in the top 20th percentile of the nation for quality outcomes - Enjoy the advantage of having a lower RN-to-patient ratio compared to comparable rehabilitation facilities **Additional Information:** - Number of Positions Available: 2 - Contract Duration: 91 weeks - Guaranteed Hours --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
