**Job Description: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts, working 3x12-hour schedules (19:00 - 07:30). This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for critical care and the ability to handle complex patient cases. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). - Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:4 in Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). - Perform advanced nursing procedures, including CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), BiPAP management, ventilator support, and blood product administration. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy, to optimize patient outcomes. - Conduct thorough patient assessments, interpret diagnostic tests (ABGs, dysrhythmias), and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and family members. - Assure compliance with safety and infection prevention protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **Qualifications:** - Current RN license in the state or compact RN license. - Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted with 2-3 years of progressive ICU experience. - Proficient in CRRT; experience with specialty procedures is a plus. - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS. Preferred certifications include CRRT, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. - Strong assessment skills with the capability to manage complex patient needs. - Must be able to float to similar units as required by facility needs. **Unit Details:** - The ICU department consists of 32 beds, providing care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including ARDS, sepsis, chronic heart failure (CHF), and post-operative complications. - Scheduling includes rotating weekend shifts and requires availability for orientation and continuing education. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
