**Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (Part-Time, Night Shift)** **Job Location:** New York, NY **Job Type:** Part-Time (24 hours per week, 2-12 hour shifts) **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM (D/N/W Holiday rotation required) --- **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. As an ICU nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients experiencing life-threatening conditions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. - Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing procedures. - Monitor vital signs and patient status, intervening as necessary. - Administer medications and treatments per established protocols. - Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a healing environment. **Qualifications:** - **Licensure:** Current New York State Registered Nurse license. - **Certifications:** - Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (certified through the RQI system during clinical orientation). - Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire. - CPI certification within 90 days of hire. - Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association and TNCC within 2 years of hire. - **Experience:** Previous ICU experience preferred, but not required. **Skills and Competencies:** - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Proficient in managing multiple priorities and exhibiting teamwork. - Capable of assessing and responding to the individual needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records preferred. **Behavioral Characteristics:** - Strong commitment to patient safety, dignity, and respect. - Ability to establish healthy relationships with patients and family members. - Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
