**Job Description: MRI Technologist** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time position requires a strong background in MRI technology, with an emphasis on Cardiac and Breast MRI procedures. The MRI Technologist will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend on-call rotations as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients in compliance with safety protocols and best practices. - Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety. - Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure optimal functionality. - Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret and document MRI findings accurately. - Maintain accurate patient records and follow proper protocols for image documentation and storage. - Participate in continuing education and training to remain current with advancements in MRI technology. - Rotate to hospital settings if needed, based on staff availability. **Qualifications:** - ARRT MRI registration is required. - Experience with Cardiac and Breast MRI preferred. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety. **Unit Information:** - Bed Capacity: 150 - Average Patient Ratios: Adult population - Equipment: GE 450w 1.5T - EHR: Paragon - Supervisor: Kevin Nelson **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Black **Work Environment:** This position is located in a facility that offers a range of services, including orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, and more.
