**Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse** **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM **Location:** Salem, VA **Position Type:** Full-Time **Contract Duration:** 91 Weeks **Unit Information:** Join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, where we provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Our facility is equipped with advanced technology, including GE and Philips equipment, and utilizes MediTech for efficient electronic medical record management. **Unit Details:** - **Number of Beds:** [Insert number of beds] - **Staff Composition:** 15 staff members, including RNs, CVTs, ARRTs, and RCIS professionals. - **Staffing Ratios:** Day shift typically features 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 1-3 sitters based on patient needs. - **Floating Areas:** EP and Pre/Post holding. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during cardiac catheterizations, interventions, and STEMI procedures. - Participate in patient education, ensuring patients understand their procedures and care plans. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain and manage equipment necessary for catheterization procedures. **Qualifications:** - **Required Certifications:** ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support). - **Experience:** Must have previous Cath Lab experience. - **Preferred Skills:** Proficiency in performing cardiac catheterizations and familiarity with various cardiac interventions. - **Best Personality Fit:** Candidates should be easy-going and willing to help out team members as needed. **Work Schedule:** - 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts with rotating days off. - Participation in rotating on-call shifts during the week and weekends is required. **Dress Code:** Scrubs provided by the facility. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
