**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** Day | 3x12.0 **Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is effectively followed. This role involves supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. If you're passionate about patient care and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming the basis of individualized care plans. - Identify patient and family teaching needs through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. - Provide timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records in alignment with established policies. - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and address direct patient care through effective nursing processes including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. - Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding changes in patient status, ensuring continuity of care and safety. - Mentor and supervise ancillary nursing personnel while organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively. - Promote a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to safety standards and policy guidelines. - Contribute positively to unit teamwork and dynamics through calm direction and support for colleagues, patients, and families. - Maintain open lines of communication with management and nursing teams regarding service needs, ensuring an efficient workflow and quality patient outcomes. - Assume charge responsibilities as requested after orientation. - Engage in ongoing professional development through educational opportunities and self-study. **Required Qualifications:** - Valid RN license in the state of practice. - BLS Certification required prior to the first shift. - ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (specific locations). - Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience preferred. **Behavioral Characteristics:** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Demonstrated problem-solving abilities. - Commitment to patient safety and quality care. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
