Job Description
**Job Title: MRI Technologist** **Shift:** 12-Hour Night Shift **Job Description:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans and ensuring top-quality imaging results. This position requires flexibility with scheduling as we have a no-call policy, with 1-2 weekends a month required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform MRI examinations and ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images. - Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team. - Maintain patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures. - Ensure proper protocols and safety measures are followed. - Keep up-to-date with medical imaging advancements and best practices. **Requirements:** - Current BLS certification. - ARRT or ARMRIT license. - Advanced MR licensure is required. - Experience with Phillips MRI equipment is mandatory. - Prior travel experience is preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is an advantage. - A minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is required. - Epic experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable. **Additional Information:** - Availability for orientations every other Monday, with the next available orientation being on September 8. - Employment gaps over 90 days must be adequately explained. - Full work history information, including bed count, EMR experience, and facility type, is necessary for application submission. - Reliable transportation is essential as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
