**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)** **Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)** **Location: [Specify Location]** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position is pivotal in delivering high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating nursing care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical practice standards. - Collaborate with various professional disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care delivery. - Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques leading to positive patient outcomes. - Collect and analyze patients’ health data to identify problems and expected outcomes tailored to each patient. - Develop and implement comprehensive care plans with prescribed interventions. - Regularly evaluate patients’ progress towards desired outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary. - Assist in discharge planning and educate patients and significant others regarding illness and injury prevention. - Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations. - Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring the highest quality of care. **Job Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting. - Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. - Previous travel experience strongly preferred. - Familiarity with Epic charting system is a plus. - Strong clinical skills in arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, and more. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. **Unit Details:** - Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics - Average Daily Census: 28 - Unit staffing includes support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. **Additional Information:** - This is a full-time position with variable weekend shifts and potential on-call requirements. - Floating to similar units may be required based on facility needs. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
