**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele** **Shift:** 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) **Start Date:** November 3rd (Non-flexible) **Location:** 100-Mile Radius Rule Applies **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Tele team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients primarily with medical diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, AKI, and post-operative cases like laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendectomy. You will work in a 90-bed facility featuring double occupancy beds, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 during days and 1:6 during nights. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population - Monitor and assess patients' conditions and administer medications as per protocol - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans - Assist in the titration of non-titrated drips (e.g., Heparin & Lasix) - Document patient care using Epic EMR; proficiency required (within the last two years) - Participate in morning and evening shifts while ensuring a smooth workflow - Effectively interact with charge nurses and other nursing staff - Support patient care aids (PCAs) and coordinate with respiratory and monitor techs as needed **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in a specialty area - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred - Ability to float between Med Surg, stable low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills Clinic as necessary - Willingness to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 holidays - Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Orientation and Training:** - One day of general orientation, one day of clinical education/EPIC training, and one day on the floor for hands-on experience **Cancellation Policy:** - Standard cancellation policy applies, allowing the client to cancel hours equivalent to weekly guaranteed hours Join our team and make a significant impact in providing excellent patient care! --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
