**Job Title: CVICU Nurse (Evening Shift)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a qualified CVICU Nurse to join our dedicated team in a premier healthcare facility. This position requires **Epic experience** and a solid foundation in critical care nursing, particularly in the management of postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of **2-3 years of staff CVICU experience**, demonstrating competency with high-acuity patients and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). - Efficiently manage advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring devices, ECG monitors, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive/inotropic drip titrations. - Conduct thorough patient assessments and interpret clinical data to guide patient care decisions. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and ensure compliance with facility protocols. **Required Skill Set:** - Expertise in caring for high-acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. - Proficient in the use of various medical technologies and equipment. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. **Qualifications:** - Must possess a current nursing license (pending state license candidates will be considered). - Previous experience in a Trauma Level One facility is highly desirable. - Competency test completion required within 24 hours of submission. **Work Schedule:** - Evening shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. - Please note: The position may require floating to other units based on staffing needs. **Additional Information:** - Contract weeks: 91 - Guaranteed hours: 1/1 - Scrub colors: Navy blue scrubs required. - A deep commitment to providing compassionate care is essential. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
