**Job Description: Interventional Radiology Technologist (Vascular and Neuro)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with expertise in vascular and neuro procedures to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform procedures in the Cardiac/Vascular Interventional Lab, demonstrating proficiency in vascular and neuro specialties. - Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and accurately interpret results to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques while preparing supplies and assisting physicians in the lab. - Document patient activities, monitor ECG and blood pressure, and communicate pertinent information to the physician promptly. - Participate in emergency on-call rotations, being available for urgent procedures 24/7. - Lead resuscitative measures as part of the laboratory's code team under physician supervision. - Utilize inventory control systems to properly document all performed procedures and bill accordingly. - Engage in continuous education and in-service opportunities to further enhance professional skills. - Instruct and mentor radiography students regarding positioning and techniques for obtaining radiographic images. - Maintain specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures, adhering to the highest standards of patient confidentiality. - Contribute to performance improvement activities and assist in inventory management within the department. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of two years of experience in a Cardiac/Vascular Interventional Lab. - Proficiency in two or more specialties as outlined by the department. - Required certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS. - A radiation badge will be mandated to be provided by the agency. - Experience with neuro procedures such as cerebral coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting is preferred. **Schedule:** - 4 - 10 hour shifts with mandatory on-call and late shifts. - Call requirements include 1-2 shifts per week, every 3rd or 4th weekend, and possible holiday call. - 30-minute call back time. **Work Environment:** - Acute care setting with a focus on patient-centered care. **Application Requirements:** - Candidates must have a valid driver's license with an address outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility. - Previous permanent candidates must have a break of at least two years, and travelers must be away for two years after one year of service. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
