**Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse** **Shift: 12-Hour Nights (1845-0715)** **Location: Travel Position - 100-Mile Radius Rule Applies** **Start Date: November 17th (Dates Not Flexible)** --- **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team for a critical care role. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting individuals with serious health issues, including those recovering from cardiac surgeries and other critical conditions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive care to patients in the ICU setting with a focus on cardiac and medical-surgical patients. - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, ensuring high-quality care. - Administer and titrate various critical drips, including vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, sedatives, and analgesics. - Collaborate with healthcare teams, including Intensivists present 24/7, and Respiratory Therapists for ventilator management. - Work with Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) for support in tasks such as blood draws and basic patient care. - Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care plans. **Requirements:** - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. - Proficiency in Epic EMR with experience gained within the last two years. - Ability to float to other units with adjusted patient assignments as needed. - Experience in managing complex critiqued patients such as those with DKA, sepsis, and respiratory issues. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a hospital environment. **Additional Information:** - Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s). - Limited Request Time Off (RTO) - Max of 5 days. - Self-scheduling with the flexibility to request shifts, working four weekend shifts within a four-week period. **Orientation:** - One-day NEO, followed by a day of skills and competencies training, plus one-day direct orientation on the floor. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
