**Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location:** 100-Mile Radius Requirement **Shift:** 12-Hour Days (0645 - 1915) **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in critical care nursing and be well-versed in using Epic EMR. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, managing complex medical conditions, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, adhering to established protocols and standards. - Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and titrate drips as indicated, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Manage a patient load of 1:1 to 1:2, adjusting to 1:3 if patients are stable. - Perform nursing assessments and document findings accurately in the Epic EMR system. - Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Support patients and their families, providing education and emotional support during critical care situations. - Participate in code blue situations and rapid response teams as needed. - Assist with procedures and post-operative care, including support for patients with cardiac conditions, respiratory issues, and more. **Requirements:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. - Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required, with proficiency in critical care drips and protocols. - Familiarity with the management of patients with cardiac conditions, sepsis, DKA, and other critical health issues. - Ability to work 36 hours per week with flexibility for weekends and holidays. - Must have the capacity to float to other units as required. **Orientation and Training:** The position includes a structured orientation program consisting of one day of general orientation, a day with the educator for skills and competencies, and one day on the floor for unit-specific training. **Additional Information:** - Two holidays required during the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s). - Commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. - Navy blue scrubs required. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
