**Job Description: Night Shift LDRP Nurse (12-Hour Shifts)** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LDRP Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team for night shifts (18:00 - 06:30). This position offers flexibility with the option of working 36 or 48 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing labor patients, coupling well babies, and circulating during cesarean sections. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting. - Manage laboring patients and ensure safe deliveries, including both vaginal and cesarean sections. - Perform couplet care for mother and newborn, ensuring all care needs are met. - Assist with newborn assessments and manage care such as breastfeeding support, thermoregulation, and phototherapy. - Utilize Epic documentation system to accurately chart patient information. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy for optimal patient care. - Maintain patient safety routines, including newborn identification and managing newborn hypoglycemia. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of previous LDRP experience required (first-time travelers welcome). - Current certifications: BLS, NRP required; PALS preferred. - Epic experience is a must. - Preferred experience in community hospital settings or Level II NICU. - Ability to float to like units if needed. - Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. **Unit and Patient Care Details:** - Patient Ratios: Typically 3:1 for days and nights, with weekend coverage required. - Unit staffed with 11 rooms/beds, with a focus on couplet care and a special care nursery. - Orientation provided to familiarize nurses with unit protocols and procedures. **Schedule Requirements:** - Flexible scheduling based on unit needs, covering potential gaps in staff coverage. - 12 weekend shifts over the contract period. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
