**Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift** **Location:** [Specify Location] **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Unit:** NICU Level III/IV **Weekend Coverage:** Required every other weekend **Job Description:** We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a challenging role in our highly specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III/IV. As a NICU RN, you will provide exceptional care to neonates, including those born with complex medical conditions. This position primarily entails working on night shifts, requiring commitment and adaptability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive care for critically ill neonates in a Level III/IV NICU setting. - Manage arterial lines, central lines, and perform blood draws as needed. - Administer and monitor various feeding methods, ensuring the health and comfort of each infant. - Implement isolation precautions and assess infants for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. - Conduct neonatal dosage calculations and manage ventilation systems (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP). - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, respiratory services, and social services to provide holistic patient care. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Associate's degree or higher in Nursing. - **Experience:** A minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with NICU Level III experience preferred. - **Licenses & Certifications:** Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory. - **Skills:** Proficiency in placement and management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), and ventilator management. - **Travel Experience:** Previous travel nursing experience is beneficial but not required. **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates and Infants **Documentation System:** EPIC **Additional Information:** - Orientation hours: 32 hours - The facility welcomes first-time travelers. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
