**Job Title: CT Tech - Day Shift (5x8 Hours)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a qualified CT Tech to join our healthcare team on a day shift schedule, working 5 consecutive days with shifts running from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. This position is suitable for first-time travelers with a minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform computed tomography (CT) scans and ensure quality imaging to assist in patient diagnosis. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed. - Administer contrast media as required and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process. - Collaborate with radiology teams and provide excellent patient care across various age groups, including neonates to geriatrics. - Utilize various imaging equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems. - Follow isolation precautions and maintain a sterile working environment. - Work closely with support services such as interpretation services and pharmacy. **Qualifications:** - Valid ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification required. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CT imaging role. - Proficiency in handling diverse patient cases, including musculoskeletal trauma and contrast administration. - Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred. - Must have a valid KS or Compact Allied license in hand at time of submission. **Patient Care Details:** - Patient age groups: Neonates, Infants, Children, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. - Daily census: Approximately 106 patients with around 60 visits per day. - Number of beds: 378 across multiple patient rooms. **Unit Details:** - High-pressure environment that requires effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams. - Knowledge of various protocols and procedures specific to CT imaging. - Ability to adapt to changing environments and floating to like units when necessary. **Additional Information:** - Commitment to a scheduled orientation totaling 30 hours. - Support for 24/7 patient care needs with available interdisciplinary support. - Various patient ratios based on schedule, ensuring effective and attentive care. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
