**Job Title: Compassionate Patient Care Nurse** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled nurse to provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. This role utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and families. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate pertinent information to the healthcare team and actively participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process. - Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care for patients and their families. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. - Participate in problem-solving initiatives to meet patient care goals. **Schedule:** - Shift: 1900-0730 - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Number of Openings: 10 **Requirements:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in a relevant field. - **Certifications:** Current ACLS, BLS certification is required; NIHSS certification is a plus. - **Education:** Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. - **Licensure:** Must hold current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. **Skills:** - Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for effective nursing care planning. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. **Patient Ratios:** - Specialty care unit ratios: 1:4 up to 1:6 - Rehabilitation: 1:6 up to 1:7/8 - General nursing: 1:5 up to 1:7/8 (infrequently). **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
