**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Length:** 13 weeks **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our midwife-led healthcare team. In this role, you will provide compassionate and personalized nursing care to patients throughout the pregnancy continuum, from infancy through adulthood. Your expertise will support low-intervention approaches while ensuring access to essential medical resources when needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and mother/baby care. - Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to tailor the nursing process to the individual patient’s needs. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a safe and supportive birth experience. - Maintain compliance with nursing standards of care and practices. - Document patient care activities accurately, using Epic EMR for electronic health records. - Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures, ensuring all medical and occupational health compliance items are completed within the specified timeline. - Maintain flexibility to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as required. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required. - Experience in postpartum care and mother/baby nursing is essential. - ACLS certification and AWHONN Certification (within the past 3 years) preferred. - Current licensure as a registered nurse in New Hampshire is required. - NRP and BLS (AHA) certifications must be current. - Candidate must have reliable transportation, as having a vehicle is a firm requirement. **Additional Information:** - Please note that requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; requests after upload will not be approved. - No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. - Orientation is non-billable.
