**Job Description: Respiratory Therapist (RT)** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a community hospital located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This position offers an opportunity to work in a Joint Commission accredited facility known for its commitment to patient care and excellence. **Position Details:** - **Role:** Respiratory Therapist (RT) - **Shift:** 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (18:00-06:00) - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Location:** 101 Civic Center Lane, Lake Havasu City, AZ - **Department:** Respiratory Care - **Number of Openings:** 1 **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. - Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and respond to changes accordingly. - Administer prescribed medications and treatments to patients. - Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques and equipment use. **Qualifications:** - Must possess an active Arizona Respiratory Therapist license. - Certifications required: NRP, NBRC, PALS, and BLS. - A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting. - Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed. - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is preferred. **Patient Population:** - The facility serves a diverse range of patients, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatric populations. **Work Environment:** - This role is located in a 171-bed hospital that is certified as a Chest Pain Center and has a Level 3 Trauma designation.
