**Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist** **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (3X12 hr shifts) **Contract Length:** 13 Weeks **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services and Shift Supervisors, you will provide and administer comprehensive Respiratory Care Therapy and related equipment as outlined in our Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Your role is vital in the education, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver respiratory therapy under medical guidance; assist in intubation, ventilator setup, and management. - Conduct thorough assessments and gather necessary patient information to determine needs, including disease education and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. - Foster a positive rapport with patients/caregivers and team members to support optimal health outcomes. - Provide and document education to patients and caregivers according to identified needs, ensuring clarity and understanding. - Perform other duties and projects as assigned, adhering to organizational competencies and behavior standards. - Regularly contact medical personnel and visitors to facilitate a collaborative work environment. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). - Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required. - Previous experience with ventilators is necessary. - Must hold an active New Jersey Respiratory Care license (no temporary licenses). - Essential skills include the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs, strong accountability for patient wellbeing, and a commitment to teamwork and high-quality care. **Education:** - Required: High school diploma or equivalent; Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license. **Work Schedule:** - Evening shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, includes every other weekend and holidays. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to lift a minimum of 5 lbs, push/pull 5 lbs, and stand for at least 1 hour daily. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our healthcare professionals!
