**Job Description: Registered Nurse – Level I Trauma PCU** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 24 Hours **Overview:** We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Level I Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess at least 24 months of current experience in a similar setting, demonstrating a strong ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols and procedures. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, offering timely interventions as required. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. - Adhere to safety and health regulations, ensuring a secure environment for patients and staff. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 24 months of current Level I Trauma PCU nursing experience is **required.** - Active nursing license in Arizona, with verification dated within the last 30 days. - Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications in ACLS and BLS are **required** and must be included with submission. - No Nursys hits reported. - Travelers must have no home address in Arizona as reflected on their driver's license. **Submission Requirements:** - Completed cover page specific to the posting. - A detailed resume outlining previous facilities, facility sizes, number of beds, trauma levels, and units worked. - Skills checklist specific to the nursing discipline, not older than one year. - Documentation of active certifications listed at the time of submission. **Additional Details:** - On-call schedule will be determined by the facility. - Weekend shifts and specific department preferences must be noted in submission. - Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 7 days and will not be approved in the first week of the assignment or during holidays. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
