**Job Title: Occupational Therapist** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, administering, and supervising Occupational Therapy treatments based on physician referrals and regulatory standards. The therapist will demonstrate clinical competence and customize treatment plans to meet the specific needs of patients based on their age and condition. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Patient Evaluation & Planning:** Assess patient abilities, establish functional goals, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the patient's needs. - **Treatment Delivery:** Administer therapy safely and effectively, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans while involving patients and their families. - **Documentation:** Complete thorough, timely, and compliant documentation regarding patient assessments and progress to ensure continuity of care. - **Communication:** Maintain open and effective communication with medical staff, patients, and families to promote quality care and collaboration throughout the treatment process. - **Flexibility:** Adapt to schedule changes and provide assistance across multiple care areas as required. - **Supervision & Delegation:** Oversee support staff and students, ensuring all actions comply with regulations and maintaining competency standards. - **Operational Contribution:** Support departmental improvement initiatives and work towards meeting productivity goals. - **Collaboration:** Engage with various internal and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and experience. **Key Qualifications:** - At least one year of experience outside of clinical internships. - A valid and active Occupational Therapy license in Arizona upon submission. - Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Ability to work 8 or 10-hour shifts as required. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Occupational Therapy. **Cancellation Policy:** Please note that there is a cancellation policy in place, including provisions equivalent to weekly guaranteed hours for assignments. **Charting System:** Experience with the EPIC system is preferred. **Care Setting:** This role primarily involves working in an acute care setting. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
