**Job Title: Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist** **Location: Atlantis, FL** **Shift: Days (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)** **Weekends: One weekend per month with weekdays off to balance** **On Call: No** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in an Inpatient Rehabilitation setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with experience in acute care, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab) who is passionate about helping patients achieve recovery and improvement in their functional mobility. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical patients. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients’ physical abilities and overall well-being. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Meditech). - Address patient needs with critical thinking and excellent time management skills. **Unit Information:** - 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. - Average of 12 staff members per shift, including a Director, Lead PT, Physical and Occupational Therapists, and assistants. - Patient ratios vary based on volume, promoting effective individualized care. - Equipment includes treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes. **Qualifications:** - Required: Current BLS certification, 1 year of experience in hospital acute care, IP rehab, or SNF settings. - Preferred: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. - Must be adaptable and willing to work varied day shift hours. **Best Personality Fit:** - A dedicated team player with a strong commitment to patient care. - Compassionate, technologically proficient, and a critical thinker. **Dress Code:** - Grey scrubs are required. **Why Join Us?** This position is offered in a leading acute care medical/surgical facility that specializes in advanced cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, and women’s services.
