**Job Title: Travel Operating Room RN Circulator** **Location:** Carlsbad, NM **Shift:** Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (5x8 hour shifts), on-call required **Duration:** 13 weeks **Position Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Operating Room RN Circulator to join our surgical team. This role requires 2+ years of experience and a strong background in various surgical procedures. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will collaborate closely with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in the operating room, adhering to state regulations and hospital procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room by utilizing critical thinking and scientific judgment. - Ensure the timely availability of surgical supplies and equipment. - Communicate effectively with patients’ families and update physician preference cards. - Assist in scrubbing and providing support to physicians during surgical procedures. - Supervise and guide personnel delivering patient care in the operating room. - Participate in call rotations, including 1 weekday and a weekend rotation, with on-call duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** - Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN, with experience in general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, and trauma surgeries. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. - Previous experience with both adult and pediatric patients is essential. - Strong communication and leadership skills, with an emphasis on teamwork. **Facility Information:** - Size: 99 beds - Number of operating rooms: 6 - Average procedures per month: Approximately 250 - Patient ratio: 1:148 **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
