**Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse (7P - 7:30A Shift)** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is a night shift role, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The ideal candidate must have recent experience using Epic and will be required to wear navy blue scrubs during their shifts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. - Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. **Qualifications:** - **Epic experience required.** - **National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN certification** is mandatory, with proof of certification required at the time of submission. - Must be certified within the past 3 years (Proof of class registration for AWHONN certification is acceptable at time of submission). - **Local candidates only** (specific counties are ineligible). - Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred. - Valid nursing license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain. **Work Environment:** - Position may require floating to other units as needed. - The facility has a robust structure, including various patient care areas. - Staffing flexibility may be necessary depending on unit requirements. **Additional Information:** - This is a **temporary contract position** with guaranteed hours over a total of 91 weeks. - The position may involve on-call responsibilities based on patient needs. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
