**Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist** **Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (3x12 Hour Shifts)** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care therapy and support within a hospital setting. This role is vital to the treatment, management, education, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer respiratory therapy and related procedures as directed by medical staff. - Assist with intubation, and manage ventilator setup and operation. - Gather patient-specific information for appropriate evaluations and consultations. - Establish rapport with patients and caregivers, fostering a supportive care environment. - Provide and document education for patients and caregivers based on identified needs. - Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. - Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. **Schedule Details:** - 36 guaranteed hours over a 13-week contract period. - Rotation includes every other weekend and holiday commitments. - Must be willing to float to adult ICU areas and intermediate care floors. **Required Skills and Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). - At least 1 year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). - Proficient in ventilator management and related procedures. - Strong adaptability to changing patient needs and a commitment to high-quality patient care. **Education and Certifications:** - Required: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. - Required: Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license and Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials. - Required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. **Why Choose Us:** At ARMStaffing, we prioritize the wellbeing of our healthcare professionals.
