**Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab** **Location:** Houston, Texas **Shift:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** Full-time **Unit Overview:** Join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Cath Lab, where you will work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering excellent patient care. Our unit features 3 procedure rooms with a dedicated staff of 10, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures. - Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care. - Maintain patient safety and confidentiality while adhering to all unit policies and protocols. - Participate in patient education, pre-operative assessment, and post-operative care. - Utilize advanced medical equipment including Philips and Siemens devices as part of patient procedures. **Patient Ratios:** 3 staff members per 1 patient **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Active RN license - BLS and ACLS certification - Interventional experience is a must - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in electrophysiology (EP) or neuro procedures **Typical Procedures:** - Peripheral Vascular Intervention (PVI) - Pacemaker Placement (PPM) - Electrophysiology Study (EPS) - Left Heart Catheterization (LHC) - Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) - Interventional Radiology (IR) cases - Neuro interventions **Ideal Candidate:** The ideal candidate will be outgoing, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. **Dress Code:** Navy blue scrubs **Additional Information:** Some scheduled Saturday cases and on-call responsibilities may be required. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
