**Job Title: MRI Technologist** **Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)** **Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, Sunday to Tuesday** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team in a Short Term Acute Care facility. This role is ideal for both experienced MRI technicians and those with minimal experience who are eager to develop their skills in a challenging and supportive environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform MRI scans on patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. - Utilize advanced imaging technology to support medical diagnoses and treatment planning. - Administer contrast media as needed and ensure patient safety throughout all procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and optimize imaging procedures for various cases. - Ensure a high level of patient care and comfort during all imaging processes. **Qualifications:** - Valid OBMI MRI License is required. - ARRT MR and BLS certifications are mandatory. - Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, is essential. - At least 2 years of experience in MRI technology is highly preferred. - Strong skills in various MRI techniques including abdomen, neuro, and functional MRI. **Special Skills:** - Proficiency in specialized imaging procedures such as breast biopsy, CMR, and pediatric imaging. - Knowledge of image post-processing and understanding of both 2D and 3D image reconstruction methods. - Ability to handle trauma cases effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Work Environment:** - Dedicated to both inpatient and outpatient care. - Active collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. - Opportunities to float between various hospital units as needed. **Job Requirements:** - Must commit to working weekends, with a flexible approach to scheduling requests, including holidays. - Orientation hours will total 40, preparing you for success in your new role. - References required from supervisory personnel covering at least one year of prior experience. **Support for Our Staff:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
